I got accepted onto an Art Therapy Masters Degree.  Woo!

   Thats me made up now. Now all I have to do is find the money....

Thanks. Yeah you know what, I think I DID earn this! I didnt get in last year. You need a BA in art, a years experience in carework and the application included three essays and 6 peices of art work critiqued, and on top of that, I applied in the last few days it was open,(I hadnt realised the closing date was so soon!) I really had to work hard on the essays, frazzled I was!

Well, it is a lot cheaper than the US, but masters degree level isnt free and there is no grants available. Scholarships maybe, but Im largely going to have to fork up the money myself. Its about £3000 a year, £6000 in all, which is do-able now that we dont have a car.

That works out to be about the cost of first year of art college here, when you figure out the exchange rate :-)

so its about half the cost over here then.
I best Canada has it cheaper than America though.

Probably in terms of education, yes. The university costs more than the art college though, poop!
