Gorgeous. Incredible detail and realism.

Those hands have seen some years, and hard work.

Im glad you can see in them what I see. The hands are of an aborigine woman delicately looking for evidence of yam roots. I drew it from sketching her hands in various positions of a DVD so its original. Its a shame its off a dvd and not real life, but then again Ive never been to australia. I wanted to show how much living her hands had seen, she wasnt all that old, maybe 60 at the most, its really what I think all human hands would like , had we treaded lightly on the planet and lived alongside nature.
